Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu People's Council becomes Vice Chairman of Vietnam Farmers' Union

On July 19, at the 3rd meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VIII, 100% of delegates elected Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council (PC) of Bac Lieu province, as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen was mobilized and appointed by the Politburo to join the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term VIII.

Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen (48 years old) is from Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province. Mr. Nguyen has a master's degree in Economic Law.

Mr. Nguyen has held the following positions: Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Finance of Bac Lieu province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province, Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Lieu province.

In January 2021, Mr. Nguyen was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
