According to the report at the working session, in the first 6 months of the year, Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board approved investment policies/issued investment registration certificates for 7 projects with a total area of over 753 hectares and registered capital of over 7,270 billion VND.

Notable among these are the Phu Yen High-Tech Industrial Park Infrastructure Project (VND2,369 billion) and the Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project Phase 1 (VND4,188 billion).
Up to now, Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone and industrial parks have attracted 125 projects, with an average occupancy rate of 81.24%.

Production and business activities at enterprises achieved positive results: revenue of 4,500 billion VND, export turnover of 120 million USD, budget contribution of 110 billion VND; creating jobs for 11,200 workers. Infrastructure, environment and security and order were ensured, creating favorable conditions for investors.
At the meeting, representatives of the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board raised current difficulties such as limited staff, degraded infrastructure of some industrial parks, problems in compensation and site clearance procedures affecting the progress of projects, and barriers to seafood exports due to new regulations.
At the same time, the representative of the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allow the suspension of the equitization of the Public Service Center so that the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board can develop a project to rearrange affiliated public service units with functions and tasks suitable to actual operations and in accordance with regulations; allow the unit to invest in some essential infrastructure items that are still lacking and upgrade, maintain and repair items in industrial parks serving investment projects in operation...

In her concluding remarks at the meeting, Comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board plays a driving role in attracting investment in large projects, creating a breakthrough in the overall development of the province.
The Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee always prioritize mobilizing maximum resources, focusing on completing synchronous infrastructure, improving the investment environment, and creating the most favorable conditions for key projects to soon come into operation.
In the coming time, comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao requested the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board to continue to strengthen management work, improve the quality of administrative procedure reform, review planning projects to proactively attract investors to register for investment in developing functional areas in the Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone and industrial parks; promptly grasp and resolve difficulties of operating enterprises.
The Board coordinates with relevant departments and branches to create favorable conditions for investors, while improving the efficiency of attracting high-tech and environmentally friendly projects; contributing to building Dak Lak province into an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
Departments and localities continue to study solutions to remove difficulties for the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, speeding up the progress of compensation and site clearance for projects.
