According to records, in Ham Thuan commune, 303 houses were flooded. Heavy rain and strong currents caused the collapse of the Cau C2 culvert across the Nha Dam - Sa Ky route (in Phu Thai village), and also caused damage and landslides on the Ku Ke - Phu Son concrete road - the main traffic route leading to Phu Son village.
The whole commune had 290 hectares of rice over 45 days old and 270 hectares of corn and various crops flooded; more than 830 livestock and poultry died and were swept away.

As of the morning of October 31, many roads in Ham Thuan commune were still flooded.
The total initial damage is estimated at about 1.2 billion VND.
