Speaking at the reception, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his joy at welcoming international delegates to this important event, and emphasized the role of Lao Cai as an economic bridge between Vietnam, ASEAN and the Southwest region of China. Recognizing its potential advantages, in recent years, Lao Cai province has been focusing on developing synchronous infrastructure, promoting administrative reform, improving the investment environment, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors to carry out production and business activities effectively and sustainably.
Lao Cai has been implementing a comprehensive development master plan, focusing on key areas such as: Transport and logistics infrastructure (expanding Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, building an airport, developing an international railway, upgrading smart border gates, building a modern logistics center) ; trade and industry (developing border gate economic zones, expanding industrial parks, promoting processing and manufacturing) ; financial services, tourism, and trade (building a financial service center, developing smart tourism, elevating Lao Cai's typical products to the international market); digital transformation, green economic development (promoting the application of digital technology, circular economy and environmental protection in socio-economic development) .

Ms. Ingrid Christensen - Country Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Vietnam highly appreciated the event series "Meeting 2025: Lao Cai"; at the same time, she expected that the event would open up many cooperation opportunities with Vietnam in general and Lao Cai province in particular.
