In the first 3 months of 2025, Dien Bien Dong district planted 854.61 hectares of winter-spring rice, reaching 98.23% of the assigned plan; industrial production value is estimated at more than 171 billion VND, an increase of nearly 62 billion VND over the same period last year; the disbursement rate of public investment capital reached 28.43% of the capital plan; budget revenue in the area is estimated at 8 billion VND...

The district is focusing on directing the implementation of the macadamia and coffee planting project using the capital of the three national target programs. Continuing to call for and attract investment in wind power projects and medicinal plant planting. Administrative reform and improvement of the investment and business environment are of interest; the security - political situation, social order and safety are stable, national defense - security are maintained.

Dien Bien Dong district proposed that the province pay attention to supporting funding to implement a number of programs and projects related toeducation and transportation; at the same time, remove difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, land allocation, forest allocation, macadamia planting, urban planning, etc.
