According to BSR 's report, in 2025, the output of Dung Quat Oil Refinery's products will increase sharply, with estimated total annual revenue reaching more than 140,000 billion VND.
In 2025, BSR plans to pay the provincial budget 10,164 billion VND, and is expected to pay the provincial budget more than 9,527 billion VND by December 31, 2025, about 636 billion VND lower than the plan, due to the market oil price being lower than the estimated budget revenue oil price.
BSR said that although the provincial budget payment is lower than expected, the company will pay import-export tax to the central budget about 2,000 billion VND higher than estimated. Thus, for the whole year of 2025, BSR will still complete the budget payment plan according to the assigned estimate.
BSR forecasts that from now until the end of the year, there will be unfavorable weather conditions that will have a certain impact on production and business. However, BSR pledges to strive to overcome difficulties and complete the set plan for 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam emphasized that Quang Ngai province always accompanies BSR to overcome difficulties, creating the most favorable conditions for the company to implement its production and business development strategy.
Over the years, BSR has always been a pioneer in production and business, maintaining its position as a large enterprise of the province and the country. BSR's budget contribution currently accounts for about 80% - 85% of the province's total budget revenue.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam hopes that in the remaining time of 2025, BSR will overcome adverse weather conditions, promote production and business, and ensure the achievement of the set goals.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that when developing the 2026 production and business plan, BSR should link the company's growth target with the province's double-digit growth target. From there, propose realistic solutions for each month and quarter, both increasing the unit's revenue and actively contributing to the provincial budget.
Regarding BSR's recommendations related to the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Upgrade and Expansion Project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to urgently review the remaining work and resolve it thoroughly according to the instructions of the Provincial People's Committee at previous meetings.
