Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang visited and shared the loss of the families of the victims after the People's Committee headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (Cu Kuin district) were attacked on the morning of June 12.
The delegation of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang visited and shared the pain and loss with the families of Mr. Nguyen Van Kien, Secretary of the Ea Ktur Commune Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the Ea Tieu Commune People's Committee. Both were murdered on their way to work after receiving news that the commune People's Committee headquarters had been vandalized and threatened.

The Deputy Prime Minister then visited the hospital to visit two police officers from Ea Ktur commune who were lucky to escape death after being attacked by armed men. The two officers were seriously wounded, lost a lot of blood, and were hospitalized in critical condition. According to doctors, the health of the two police officers is gradually stabilizing. On the same day, the delegation visited and encouraged the families of the officers and soldiers who died after the attack.
Earlier, in the early morning of June 11, a group of unidentified people used guns to attack the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes. The attack killed four police officers, two commune officials and three civilians, and seriously injured two police officers. By noon today, authorities announced that they had arrested 26 suspects; rescued two hostages, and seized many guns and weapons from the suspects.
