During the inspection process, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health discovered a series of violations by the Dermatology Clinic of YC Beauty Company Limited (15-17-19 Hoang Du Khuong, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), including:
Failure to ensure one of the following conditions after being granted a license to operate a medical examination and treatment facility, except for the form of organization of a general clinic or hospital; Using practitioners without a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment; Failure to post prices for medical examination and treatment services; Establishing a medical examination and treatment book but not recording it fully as prescribed by law.
For the above violations, the Department of Health fined YC Beauty Dermatology Clinic 66 million VND, suspended the clinic's operations for 4 months and revoked the right to use the practice certificate of the person in charge of professional responsibility for 2 months.
At the same time, Doctor Vu Xuan Lam - who works at YC Beauty Dermatology Clinic - also had his practice certificate revoked for 3 months and was fined 11.5 million VND.
YC Beauty Dermatology Clinic has just been suspended for 4 months.
Also during this inspection, the Department of Health Inspectorate discovered, sanctioned and suspended the operations of many individuals and business units that violated regulations related to medical examination and treatment activities and performing techniques of cosmetic clinics without operating licenses.
Specifically, the owner of LCY Luxury (24/1 Vo Oanh, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) was fined 47.5 million VND and had its operations suspended until it had completed all legal documents related to medical examination and treatment activities. An employee of this business was also fined 35 million VND for examining and treating patients without a practice certificate.
Similarly, Truong Thanh Tinh beauty salon (15 Nguyen Quy Canh, An Phu ward, Thu Duc city) was also fined 115.5 million VND, suspended from operations until it had sufficient legal documents related to medical examination and treatment activities and was forced to remove illegal advertising.
