TPO - Mr. Le Hanh, Principal of Chu Van An Secondary and High School, Mong Cai City ( Quang Ninh ) confirmed that the collision between a parent's car and a student of the school occurred on the afternoon of October 1.
According to the Principal of Chu Van An Secondary and High School (Quang Ninh), at around 1 pm, a white car with an unknown license plate collided with a student riding an electric bicycle right in the school yard. Immediately after, both the student and the electric bicycle were caught under the car. Immediately, people present gathered to rescue the student and called an ambulance to take him to the hospital in a state of trauma.
According to Mr. Hanh, it was initially determined that the driver of the car that caused the accident with the student was a parent of the school. This parent drove the vehicle into the school yard without permission from the security guard.
“The security forces tried to stop him, but the parent still tried to drive his vehicle into the yard. While backing out, he collided with a student riding an electric bike,” said Mr. Hanh.

The school has a rule that cars and motorbikes are not allowed in the school yard. After the incident, the school invited the ward police to record the incident and send a report to the Department of Education and Training of Mong Cai city, the school principal added.
Regarding the incident, a representative of Mong Cai City People's Committee also said that the unit had received information about the incident and was assigning it to the police to verify and clarify.
Previously, there were students who had accidents right in the school yard due to collisions with cars. Many schools have regulations prohibiting cars from entering the school to ensure the safety of students.
