Phu Luong: Completed implementation of pilot models directed by the Central Government

The model of collecting and treating rural domestic wastewater in Yen Ninh commune has been basically completed.

Immediately after the Central Government approved the implementation of the models, the District People's Committee actively coordinated with the provincial departments and branches, directed specialized agencies, units and localities to carry out the steps of developing proposals, submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee for appraisal and approval according to regulations. Accordingly, the Phu Luong District People's Committee selected and piloted the Smart New Rural Commune (NTM) Model in Tuc Tranh and the Rural Domestic Wastewater Collection and Treatment Model in Yen Ninh Commune. The total budget mobilized to implement the models is nearly 7 billion VND.

Up to now, Tuc Tranh commune has achieved 6/6 contents, including: E-government oriented towards digital government (3/3 goals); digital infrastructure (2/2 goals); digital rural services (7/7 goals); rural economy (2/2 goals); environmental management and response to climate change (3/3 goals); ensuring social security and order (1/1 goal).

For the rural domestic wastewater collection and treatment model in Yen Ninh commune, the District People's Committee assigned the District Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor and urged the construction unit to speed up the project completion progress. Up to now, the project items have been basically completed and are expected to be put into trial operation next June, contributing to the collection and treatment of domestic water for households in Bang Ninh hamlet.
