Exciting Chess Tournament for the Elderly in Thai Nguyen Province

Athletes competed in two categories: individual and team, according to the Swiss system from 5 to 7 rounds, each round lasting 30 minutes. Thanks to strict implementation of the tournament regulations, the matches took place in an exciting, united and enthusiastic atmosphere.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the teams participating in the 2025 Senior Chess Tournament.

This is a traditional sporting event, aiming to honor the sportsmanship and intelligence of the seniors. Not only is it a useful playground, the tournament also contributes to spreading the movement of practicing chess in the community, creating opportunities for members to exchange, connect, practice thinking, and improve their spiritual life. From there, realizing the meaningful motto of life: "Live happily, live healthily, live usefully". At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, and Third prizes to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.
