Implementing the Project "Propaganda, education, mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women in the period 2017 - 2027" (Project 938), in recent times, women's unions at all levels in Dien Khanh district have promoted propaganda and deployed activities of clubs and models to support members in improving their knowledge and skills.

The "Good Parents Raising Children" Club in Dien Toan commune was established in April 2019 with 50 members, meeting once a quarter. By participating in the activities, members are informed about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; disseminate information related to domestic violence prevention and control, good parenting methods; share knowledge and experience in raising children. At the same time, they participate in propaganda sessions on the Law on Marriage and Family, the Law on Gender Equality, etc. organized by the association at all levels every year. The club also coordinates with units to organize and participate in flower arrangement, cooking, and folk game competitions on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, etc. In addition to the allocated operating budget, club members contribute 30,000 VND/person/quarter to have more funds to give gifts to excellent students who are children of club members; organize regular activities; Participate in local competitions. Each year, the Club awards about 15 gifts (VND 200,000/gift) to excellent students. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga - President of the Women's Union of Dien Toan commune said that after 6 years of operation, the Club now has 63 members. Joining the Club helps members gain more knowledge about building a happy family; scientific child care and raising skills; maternal and child health care; prevention of drowning accidents for children...

The "Women with the Law" Club in Dien Dien commune was established in April 2022 with 50 members, meeting quarterly. Joining the Club, members are informed about the policies and laws of the Party and State; prevention of domestic violence; prevention of child sexual abuse; Law on Marriage and Family; prevention of drugs... Members also learn and read books on law at local bookcases to improve their knowledge; disseminate the law to many other women in the commune; participate in environmental sanitation, prevention of plastic waste... Each member contributes 50,000 VND/quarter to organize meetings and support women and children in difficult circumstances in the Club. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (Dai Dien Dong 2 village) shared: “Through activities at the club, I have learned more about the law to understand my rights and obligations. From there, I can propagate and answer questions for other women to protect themselves and their families.”

The model of "Education on traffic safety" in Dien Lac commune was established in August 2019 with 50 members, operating once a quarter. Every year, the Women's Union of the commune opens propaganda classes, providing knowledge and skills on safe driving; traffic culture; harmful effects of alcohol and beer when participating in traffic... for members. Thereby, promoting propaganda, raising awareness, changing the behavior of female members and people, contributing to reducing traffic accidents. The model also conducts propaganda on the Law on Cyber ​​Security, preventing and denouncing crimes in cyberspace; propagating and guiding parents on skills and knowledge on raising children...

Ms. Pham Thi Hoa - President of the Women's Union of Dien Khanh district said that in recent times, all levels of the union in the district have promoted propaganda, improved knowledge for members and conveyed a lot of information to women about social issues such as: Gender equality, family health care; preventing accidents and injuries for children; traffic safety; preventing and combating crime and drugs; Law on Marriage and Family... At the same time, organizing competitions for excellent propagandists and grassroots union officials; festivals of well-performing models and clubs; mobilizing business members to sign a commitment to food hygiene and safety. From there, helping members improve their capacity to solve a number of social issues.
