At the working session with Phu Tan district, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien suggested that localities raise difficulties and problems for timely resolution.
In the district, there are a total of 249 houses that need support according to regulations, including 193 newly built houses and 56 repaired houses, with a funding requirement of 13 billion 260 million VND. Of which, 79 houses are for meritorious households, 71 houses for poor households, 91 houses for near-poor households, and 8 houses for households receiving support from the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas in the area.
Up to now, 242 houses have been started (189 new houses, 53 houses repaired); 174 houses have been completed, reaching 71.9% of the total number of houses started and 69.88% of the plan. Currently, the district is continuing to implement the remaining 68 houses.
The current difficulty of the district is that there are still 7 houses for households with meritorious services (4 new houses, 3 houses repaired) that have not been built yet (of which, 5 houses for households with meritorious services have been built according to Decision No. 22/2013/QD-TTg, dated April 26, 2013 of the Prime Minister , and 2 family apartments have not yet agreed to be built). On that basis, the district proposed that the province consider allocating construction funds to the remaining households with meritorious services soon.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, answered some questions related to housing for meritorious people.
Secretary of Phu Tan District Party Committee Nguyen Phuong Bac said: "With the attention and strong direction of Party committees at all levels, local authorities are always proactive in allocating funds when receiving support from the province and mobilizing resources to start building houses for beneficiaries. The district regularly seeks additional funds for communes and towns to implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; households benefiting from the program contribute additional funds, materials, and construction days to complete more spacious and durable houses. Phu Tan District is committed to completing the program in June.
Phu Tan District Party Secretary Nguyen Phuong Bac spoke and determined to complete the program in June.
Ms. Pham Ly Ba, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, reported on the results of the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.
Provincial and District Party Committee leaders listened to and accepted difficulties and problems from localities.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien said: "After checking the actual situation and grasping the data reported by the district, I am very assured and appreciate the efforts of Phu Tan district. The results show the drastic participation of the entire political system. I welcome the district's proposal to add 28 more houses for poor and near-poor households to help people have stable housing. In the coming time, the district needs to have a preliminary summary of the program, resolve all problems related to disbursement, settlement, documents and documents, to avoid difficulties in checking and settlement later. Carefully count the support resources from relatives, benefactors, central and local sources to see the joint efforts of the entire political system to care for people to settle down and make a living, and no one is left behind."
