Accordingly, on the morning of May 13, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, the delegation met and worked with Ambassador Tran Phuoc Anh and Head of Trade Office Cao Xuan Thang.

Representing the working delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi reported to the Ambassador on the cooperation and import-export situation of Ca Mau province with Singapore in the past time and presented the plan and orientation for cooperation exchange in the coming time, especially in the fields of agricultural, forestry and fishery export, electricity export, investment in industrial park infrastructure, human resource development in the fields of urban planning and management, science and technology development.

Ambassador Tran Phuoc Anh highly appreciated the efforts and proactiveness of Ca Mau province in promoting trade and attracting foreign investment.

Sharing with the delegation the necessary contents to connect and realize the export relationship between Ca Mau province's enterprises and Singaporean enterprises, Ambassador Tran Phuoc Anh emphasized that he will increase support for the government and enterprises of Ca Mau province in connecting, promoting cooperation, exporting goods and calling for investment.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Ca Mau Provincial Delegation met and exchanged information with the Fisheries Association and Singaporean seafood import-export enterprises.

Representatives of the working delegation and leaders of the Industry and Trade sector shared the strengths, capacity, and processing and export orientation of the Ca Mau seafood industry, and invited Singaporean businesses to study importing products from Ca Mau province.

At the end of the first day of the 3-day working program in Singapore, the delegation of Ca Mau province achieved the basic goals in seeking support and connection from Vietnamese representative agencies in the host country to promote the province's potential and strengths and enhance investment and trade promotion with the Singaporean market./.
