It is known that Tan An Tay commune was recognized as meeting new rural standards in 2017 (in Decision No. 324/QD-UBND dated March 2, 2018 of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province) with a total of 18/19 criteria for meeting new rural standards according to regulations (criterion No. 7 Rural commercial infrastructure is not implemented).

After being recognized as meeting the new rural standards, the authorities and people in the commune have continuously strived to improve the quality of the criteria. Accordingly, up to now, the total number of criteria that the commune has organized to self-assess to meet the advanced new rural standards according to regulations is 18/19 criteria (Criterion No. 7 Rural commercial infrastructure is not implemented).
