Dong Nai implements Comprehensive Care Plan for the Elderly to 2035, with a vision to 2045

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the National Strategy on the Elderly (NCT) until 2035, with a vision to 2045. This is an important step in the context of a rapidly aging population, requiring thorough and comprehensive preparation.

According to the plan, the province focuses on building a safe and healthy living environment for the elderly. By 2035, 100% of the elderly will be granted health insurance cards, more than 95% will receive regular health check-ups, and at least 90% of the elderly in difficult circumstances will receive care support.

Dong Nai will promote the development of community care models, support the construction and upgrading of nursing homes, boarding care facilities and home services. Along with that, the province focuses on raising social awareness, promoting the role of the elderly ineducation , preserving cultural identity and community supervision.

The plan aims to establish a modern elderly care service system by 2045, adapting to the trend of population aging, ensuring that all elderly people can live happily, healthily, and usefully.
