The households receiving support all have coffee gardens. Intercropping red poplar and longan trees in coffee gardens is expected to help increase economic efficiency and improve people's income.

In addition to distributing seedlings, the program also organizes training on planting and tree care techniques to ensure suitability with local climate and soil conditions, while improving agricultural production knowledge for people.
The program is part of the project "Promoting the application of sustainable coffee production methods towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the raw material areas of Mascopex Joint Stock Company Branch in Gia Lai Province" funded by JDE Peet's Group (Netherlands). The project aims to protect the environment, develop sustainable agriculture and improve farmers' livelihoods.
