In the 2025-2026 school year, the whole province has 11,005 candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam, organized into 28 examination councils with 474 examination rooms; a decrease of nearly 3,600 candidates, 5 examination councils and 151 examination rooms compared to the previous year. Mr. Do Huu Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training said that the department has developed a plan to organize the exam based on coordination with relevant departments, branches and localities, with the spirit of ensuring seriousness, safety, fairness, objectivity, correctly assessing the level of candidates, reflecting the quality of teaching. In particular, the department has developed a plan to organize the exam and printing of exam questions, coordinating with the Department of Internal Political Security - Provincial Police to deploy technical issues to ensure confidentiality according to regulations. At the same time, it will coordinate to organize the transportation and handover of exam questions to all examination councils on June 2.

Up to now, the examination councils have been established according to the prescribed composition and number. It is expected that the Department of Education and Training will mobilize 1,722 cadres, teachers, employees, and security forces to participate in the examination councils, including 1,248 exam supervisors mobilized from units under the Department and secondary schools, ensuring that each examination room has 1 secondary school teacher and 1 teacher from a unit under the Department. At the same time, the Department of Education and Training also plans to transport exam papers from the examination councils to the examination marking location, plan for marking and reviewing the exam papers. Of which, it is expected to mobilize 412 cadres, teachers, employees, and security forces to participate in the examination councils. Examiners for general subjects will be mobilized from secondary and high school teachers, ensuring that each exam paper is marked by 1 secondary school teacher and 1 high school teacher. The marking period is from June 5 to 16; The time for high schools to announce exam results is June 18.

Mr. Do Huu Quynh said that the Department of Education and Training has issued specific regulations on the functions, tasks, and powers of each department and individual participating in the stages of the exam. On May 27, the department will hold a conference to deploy some contents of the exam and train the exam invigilation skills for the leaders and secretaries of the exam council. One day before the exam, the exam council will check the accuracy and validity of all exam documents. If any errors are found, the recruiting school will be required to make adjustments. Up to this point, all preparations for the exam are going according to plan and schedule.

Nha Trang City has 3,938 candidates, 8 examination boards located at high schools: Le Quy Don, Ly Tu Trong, Nguyen Van Troi, Hoang Van Thu (campuses 1 and 2), Ha Huy Tap, Pham Van Dong and Luong The Vinh Secondary School.

Cam Ranh City has 1,359 candidates with 3 examination councils located at high schools: Phan Boi Chau, Tran Hung Dao, Ngo Gia Tu.

Cam Lam district has 1,083 candidates with 3 examination councils located at high schools: Tran Binh Trong, Nguyen Hue, Doan Thi Diem.

Dien Khanh district has 1,255 candidates with 4 examination councils located at high schools: Hoang Hoa Tham, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Vo Nguyen Giap and Tran Dai Nghia Secondary School.

Ninh Hoa town has 2,135 candidates with 6 examination councils located at high schools: Nguyen Trai, Tran Cao Van, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ton Duc Thang, Tran Quy Cap, Nguyen Du.

Van Ninh district has 1,235 candidates with 4 examination councils located at high schools: Huynh Thuc Khang, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Hong Phong, To Van On.
