(Dan Tri) - Vietnamese pickleball player Huynh Thien Phuc (Phuc Huynh) has excellently won the right to enter the semi-finals of the Fukuoka Open 2025 pickleball tournament after easily defeating opponent Lucas Pascoe in the quarter-finals.

In the match on the morning of August 29, Vietnam's number one pickleball player, Phuc Huynh, did not encounter any difficulties in the men's singles quarter-finals of the Fukuoka Open 2025 pickleball tournament (PPA Tour Asia) in Japan. He won an overwhelming 2-0 (11-7, 11-6) victory over young opponent Lucas Pascoe (Australia).

Rated higher than his opponent, Phuc Huynh showed an impressive playing style. He continuously had powerful backhand returns, making Pascoe unable to defend.
