To serve travel needs during the 2025 Lunar New Year, 6 airports will increase night operations.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will monitor the situation of seat reservations and airfares on domestic routes to meet travel demand during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2025.

In order to serve the travel needs of people during the Lunar New Year 2025, from January 14, 2025 to February 12, 2025 (local time), the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam requests to deploy a plan to operate night flights from 0 - 24 hours every day (local time) at Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Chu Lai, Phu Cat, Pleiku and Tuy Hoa airports.

Accordingly, Vietnam Airports Corporation and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation direct units to proactively arrange resources and coordinate with airlines and units operating at airports to be responsible for implementing this request.

In addition, in order to meet the operating plans of airlines during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has also created conditions for airlines to supplement their fleets; adjust the parameters for coordinating landing and take-off times at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (from January 14, 2025 to February 12, 2025); direct service units in the air transport chain to develop plans, prepare resources, and be ready to serve night time slots.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will monitor the situation of seat reservations and airfares on domestic routes to promptly direct airlines to supplement capacity on routes with high demand, meeting passenger needs during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2025.
