Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Soulier Eric Gabriel Michel, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities of the French Embassy in Vietnam, Director of the French Institute in Vietnam, shared that the French Plus project is within the framework of the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, demonstrating the commitment to the development of the French language in the S-shaped country. According to him, Vietnam has made many important contributions to strengthening the image and presence of the French language in the Asia- Pacific region.
“This platform clearly demonstrates the determination of the French Embassy and the French Institute in Vietnam in applying digital technology to serve language cooperation, connecting teachers, students, families and businesses, with a common goal: Proving that French is a language with many opportunities in Vietnam and around the world,” said Mr. Soulier Eric.

Besides, Mr. Arnaud Pannier, Attaché in charge of educational cooperation at the French Embassy in Vietnam, mentioned the development process of French language teaching programs in the Vietnamese education system as well as important changes in bilateral cooperation policies between the two countries in the field of education.
Regarding the French Plus website, he affirmed that this is a tool to help realize the goal of supporting students and parents to access French more conveniently, promoting French teaching activities... Therefore, French Plus is expected to become the connection point of the entire French teaching ecosystem, a large system that welcomes those interested in teaching and learning this language in Vietnam.

Sharing more about the website, Ms. Pauline Vidal, in charge of education and digital technology at the French Embassy in Vietnam, stated that the French Plus platform was built with the desire to create a bilingual environment, in which Vietnamese is prioritized, in order to be able to directly reach parents and students; help Vietnamese people orient their French learning as well as introduce cultural, academic and career opportunities that French brings in Vietnam.
According to Ms. Pauline Vidal, the website consists of three main parts: Information section, where news, events and sharing from the French-speaking community are posted; learning orientation section, providing maps of training facilities, scholarship information and study abroad instructions; career orientation section, focusing on job and internship opportunities and profiles to connect candidates with businesses. In addition to the official website, French Plus also expands and maintains additional communication channels on platforms such as: Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube.

The French Plus project also has close cooperation with leading language education institutions in Vietnam. At the ceremony, Dr. Dang Thi Viet Hoa, Head of the French Department, Hanoi University, expressed her joy that this platform helps students access information about scholarships and job opportunities, and said that this is a great motivation to promote the learning and career development of students at the French Department.

Dr. Tran Hoai Anh, lecturer at the Faculty of French Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), said that the website is a practical tool to support lecturers, students and parents. She emphasized that the platform provides reliable information on internships, jobs, scholarships, training courses and French-language events, while creating opportunities for students to develop their careers in French. For parents, French Plus helps monitor their children's learning process, find schools and additional resources.
At the ceremony, guests watched a video introducing the website. Accordingly, this is an intuitive, easy-to-use tool designed specifically for Vietnamese people. In the near future, the digital ecosystem Tiếng Pháp Plus promises to become an important connection point, opening up more opportunities for the French-speaking community in Vietnam.
The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, with the participation of representatives of agencies, educational institutions, businesses and the Francophone community in Vietnam. Notably, the event was held on the International Day of French Teachers and Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).
