Preserving filial piety in the modern stream through practicing worship

The event "Worship Apprenticeship" under the project "Mr. Carrying, Mrs. Lifting" has made a special mark with the Southern Glass Painting workshop, opening the door to cultural connection for young people.

The event “Worship Apprenticeship” under the project “Mr. Carrying and Mrs. Lifting” has made a special mark with the Southern Glass Painting workshop, opening the door to cultural connection for young people. During the three days taking place at the National Archives Center II (November 21-23, 2025), this activity attracted many young people to learn and practice the art of traditional glass painting.

Under the guidance of collector Nguyen Duy Linh, participants were able to directly explore the process of creating unique glass paintings. Through each delicate line drawn on a transparent glass background, young people not only learned the craft but also deeply understood the cultural meaning hidden in each work.

This workshop is the solution to the situation where 82% of young people are aware of the meaning of worship but lack practical experience. By "touching" the heritage, the young generation has found the most genuine and emotional way to preserve filial piety, turning tradition into pride in modern life./.
