On the morning of August 9, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism report on the planning plan for the special national relic of the Tomb and Temple Complex of the Tran Dynasty Kings. On September 16, 2021, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the task of planning the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the special national relic of the Tombs and Temples of the Tran Dynasty Kings (Hung Ha). The planning area covers an area of 195.01 hectares. In particular, in Tien Duc commune, it includes the area of the protection areas of the special national relic of the Tombs and Temples of the Tran Dynasty Kings and the area proposed to be added to the planning. In Hong Minh commune, it includes the area of the Tran Dynasty archaeological site: the archaeological site that has been discovered (Lo Giang Palace) and the area expected to continue excavation, and the area of land to be expanded.
The planning aims to preserve, embellish and restore the relics on the ancestral land of Long Hung (Hung Ha) commensurate with the role of the Tran Dynasty in the history of national development. At the same time, promote the value of the relic site and related archaeological areas, becoming an attractive cultural tourist destination for visitors when visiting Thai Binh; connect the complex of relics associated with the Tran Dynasty in Thai Binh with other famous historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in the region, creating a rich chain of tourism products, contributing to the socio -economic development of Hung Ha district and Thai Binh province.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, suggested that the planning must demonstrate the unique features and historical significance of the relic; the space of the mausoleum and temple must be solemn and quiet, and the auxiliary areas must have harmonious and suitable landscapes. The planning must ensure spiritual elements, promote values, and promote tourism; create conditions for people to participate in activities serving local culture and tourism.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the consulting unit needs to continue to coordinate with local authorities to carefully survey planned areas related to residential areas. In case of forced relocation, there must be a specific plan.
