Ben Thanh Ward (HCMC) wished longevity to 847 elderly people

On the morning of October 23, Ben Thanh ward (HCMC) held a longevity celebration in 2025, with the theme "promoting the role of the elderly in the era of national growth".

Comrade Nguyen Kim Duc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee and Comrade Mai Thi Hong Hoa, Chairman of Ben Thanh Ward People's Committee presented longevity certificates and gifts to the elderly.

On this occasion, Ben Thanh ward presented 847 longevity certificates and gifts to the elderly, expressing deep gratitude to them, who have built their families, contributed to building the community and preserved the nation's fine traditional cultural values.

According to Ms. Mai Thi Hong Hoa, Chairwoman of Ben Thanh Ward People’s Committee, the elderly are “tall trees”, symbols of wisdom, kindness and perseverance. They are the solid spiritual support of every home.

From their devotion and silent dedication, many generations have grown up and together built a Ben Thanh of love, civilization and humanity. They are living witnesses to heroic historical periods, shining examples of virtue, patriotism and sacrifice.
