Located on a land that has both an urban feel and a traditional agricultural lifestyle, Binh Xuan enters 2025 with many expectations but also many challenges. After the administrative arrangement, the new apparatus must quickly adapt; the production and business activities of the people need time to stabilize. However, it is during this pivotal period that the spirit of unity of the entire political system and the people creates a strong momentum.
ECONOMIC PROGRESS
According to Vice Chairman of Binh Xuan Ward People's Committee Le Phuoc Phong, in recent times, the Ward People's Committee has focused on mobilizing business development; effectively exploiting existing economic models such as: Aquaculture, freight transport, garment, handicrafts, ship repair - building, rice cultivation... Thanks to that, in 2025, the ward's socio-economic targets all reached and exceeded the plan, in which the total budget revenue exceeded 116%.

One of the noticeable highlights is the revival of trade and services in the ward. At Long Chanh market, Binh Xuan market and residential streets, buying and selling activities are more bustling than last year. Goods are fully supplied, there is no shortage of goods or unusual price fluctuations.
People's purchasing power increased, reflected in retail sales and trade services revenue reaching 217 billion VND, exceeding the plan by more than 100%. From there, it shows that Binh Xuan is gradually shifting in the right direction to a more vibrant market economy model.
Along with trade and services, the ward's small-scale industry sector continues to maintain stability. From mechanical and garment establishments to small processing workshops, all maintain production rhythm. Production value reached 64 billion VND, an increase of more than 12% over the same period.
Support in electrical safety testing, improving the production environment and facilitating access to market information helps facilities feel secure in expanding their operations.
In the agricultural sector, the rice cultivation area reached 4,464 hectares and food output exceeded the plan by 105%; aquaculture and fruit production maintained; livestock production developed steadily with pigs, cows, and poultry exceeding targets. The fight against illegal fishing (IUU) was vigorously implemented, ensuring fishing vessels operated in accordance with regulations.
Along with that, public investment projects such as Ao Vong road, Nhi Ty road, Ba De bridge... were completed on schedule, with disbursement reaching 99.78%, contributing to improving traffic infrastructure and enhancing people's quality of life.
IMPROVING LIFE
Economic development has also led to a rise in cultural and social life. In schools, the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning has been maintained, and universal education has continued to be maintained. Digital transformation activities in teaching, organizing festivals, movements, life skills, etc. have created a healthy learning environment for students.
In the health sector, the rate of health insurance participation reached 95.2/95.2%, the number of medical examinations and treatments exceeded 102% of the target, ensuring the right to health care for all people. In addition, people's awareness of disease prevention was raised, especially in the work of preventing dengue fever and environmental sanitation. The rate of households using clean water reached 100%, a number that clearly shows the concern for people's quality of life.
Cultural and sports activities take place regularly, improving people's spiritual life. Security and order are enhanced, crime incidents are reduced compared to last year.
Administrative reform is also considered one of the bright spots. The Public Administration Service Center handles 99.4% of applications before and on time, and clearly publicizes procedures, fees and charges. This is an important factor in building people's trust in the government and supporting business development.
