Dong Hoi Ward: Started construction of housing for poor households

QTO - Welcoming the success of the 1st Congress of the Ward Party Committee and the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Hoi Ward, term 2025-2030, on the morning of August 19, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi Ward held a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for poor households in the area. Attending were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Accordingly, at residential group 3 Nam Ly (Dong Hoi ward), after the ceremony to present the support money, the delegates completed the groundbreaking procedures and began building a house for the poor household of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy (in residential group 3 Nam Ly).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy (born in 1980) is the daughter of a policy family. Ms. Thuy herself was affected by Agent Orange and has a son. Currently, the mother and son depend on family and relatives.

The house is expected to be built with an area of ^90m2 , with a total cost of 200 million VND; of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has mobilized 115 million VND from support sources, the rest thanks to the help of relatives, family and the unit will mobilize support in the coming time.

This is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the community's concern and sharing for people in difficult circumstances, thereby contributing to stabilizing life and building Dong Hoi homeland to become more and more prosperous.
