Art program to celebrate the inauguration of An Giang Provincial Theater

On the evening of August 19, the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang organized an art program to celebrate the inauguration of An Giang Provincial Theater and the 137th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birthday (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Performances at the program.

The program includes solo and group singing and dancing performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton; and love for the homeland and country. The performances are elaborately staged, highly artistic, creating a joyful atmosphere, meeting the cultural and spiritual enjoyment needs of people of all walks of life in the province.

An Giang Provincial Theater has a capacity of 1,000 seats and professional rooms, teaching, practice..., with a total investment of more than 215 billion VND from the provincial budget. The total floor area of ​​the project is 10,385m² (1 basement, 1 ground floor, 2 floors, roof); power supply system, water supply system; fire prevention and fighting system; lightning protection system...

In addition, the technical infrastructure outside the theater includes a guardhouse, fence, gate, outdoor stage, grandstand, outdoor lobby, landscape lake and trees...

The project meets the needs of organizing large-scale political , artistic and cultural events. At the same time, it is a place to exploit and promote traditional art forms of the nation, meeting the needs of developing the spiritual and cultural life of the people, the needs of enjoyment and artistic creation of generations of professional artists and mass art movements...
