Art program to celebrate the inauguration of An Giang Provincial Theater

On the evening of August 19, the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang organized a cultural program to celebrate the inauguration of An Giang Provincial Theater and the 137th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025) and the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Performances at the program.

The program includes solo and group singing and dancing performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, Uncle Ton; and love for the homeland and country. The performances are elaborately staged, highly artistic, creating a joyful atmosphere, meeting the cultural and spiritual enjoyment needs of all classes of people in the province.

An Giang Provincial Theater has a capacity of 1,000 seats and professional rooms, teaching, practice..., with a total investment of more than 215 billion VND from the provincial budget. The total floor area of the project is 10,385m² (1 basement, 1 ground floor, 2 floors, roof); power supply system, water supply system; fire prevention and fighting system; lightning protection system...

In addition, the technical infrastructure outside the theater includes a guard house, fences, gates, outdoor stages, stands, outdoor halls, landscape lakes and trees...

The project meets the needs of organizing large-scale political , artistic and cultural events. At the same time, it is a place to exploit and promote traditional art forms of the nation, meeting the needs of developing the spiritual and cultural life of the people, the needs of enjoyment and artistic creation of generations of professional artists and mass art movements...
