Vice Chairwoman of Duong Noi Ward People's Committee Vu Thi Ngoc Hien said that from January 1 to June 30, Duong Noi Ward had 3 small fires due to electrical short circuits, causing no human casualties and insignificant property damage.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the ward inspected 298 establishments listed in Appendix IV, Decree 50/2024/ND-CP (including 153 boarding houses and 47 establishments of other types); recorded violations of 143 boarding houses with a total fine of 76 million VND and 15 establishments of other types with a total fine of 3.2 million VND.

In the ward, there are 153 boarding houses in the above appendix, of which 10 have overcome the existing problems, the number of remaining problems in terms of fire prevention and fighting is 143. There are 22 houses combined with production and business, with high risk of fire and explosion as of April 15, 2025; there are 150 temporary shacks, unlicensed construction facilities, and illegal fire prevention and fighting facilities.

To ensure fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, the Ward People's Committee identified propaganda as an important task and directed the Ward Police to urgently conduct basic investigations to avoid omissions and new establishments that have not been promptly instructed and propagated on fire prevention and fighting; strengthen inspection, review, and strictly handle establishments that do not ensure fire prevention and fighting, thoroughly handle 100% of existing violations...

Duong Noi Ward People's Committee proposed that the City People's Committee soon decentralize investment tasks, arrange funding to ensure the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue tasks; direct the handover of management records according to the new administrative unit....

For boarding houses listed in Appendix II of Decree 105/2025/ND-CP, the ward proposes that PC07, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 4, and Ward Police regularly inspect, disseminate, and guide facility owners on fire safety solutions, and resolutely handle 100% of facilities that do not meet...

The Ward People's Committee also requested the Department of Construction to direct the Technical Infrastructure Management Center to regularly maintain, repair, and inspect public fire hydrants; add fire hydrants in residential areas...
