Ha Tu Ward (Quang Ninh): Renovation, upgrading, and treatment of flooding spots in Ha Phong residential area

The project to renovate, upgrade, and embellish combined with handling flooding points and ensuring traffic safety on roads in Ha Phong 6B residential area has a total investment of 45.4 billion VND, with the People's Committee of Ha Tu ward (Quang Ninh province) as the investor.

Decision No. 3878/QD-UBND signed by Mr. Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee on October 15, 2025, approved the project of Renovation, upgrading, embellishment combined with handling of flooding points and ensuring traffic safety of residential roads in groups 57, 58, 59, Ha Phong 6B area, Ha Tu ward.

The project's objective is to promptly handle and overcome environmental pollution and local flooding during heavy rains, affecting people's safety, lives, livelihoods and property, and ensuring traffic safety associated with urban upgrading in central urban areas.

The total length of the route is about 1.3km, including 02 specific routes: Route 1 is about 710m long; the starting point of the route connects with the Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road, the end point of the route is the current residential area. Route 2 is about 570m long; the starting point of the route connects with Route 1 at Km0+91m, the end point of the route is at Cai Xa Cong fishing port area.

The project has a total investment of 45.4 billion VND. Project implementation progress is 2025-2026. Project life: Traffic works are 10 years; technical infrastructure works are not less than 50 years.

Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned Ha Tu Ward People's Committee to be the investor. Ha Tu Ward People's Committee is fully responsible for the content, scale of investment, accuracy of figures, data, analysis; accuracy and completeness of items, workload and legality of documents submitted for appraisal and approval.

Organize project management, capital sources, and take the next steps to ensure compliance with legal regulations on public investment, construction, bidding, and other relevant regulations, ensuring progress, quality, investment efficiency, publicity, transparency, and no loss, waste, corruption, negativity, or "group interests".
