

Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Quang Trung and the working delegation of Vinh Tuy Ward visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Dang Dai Minh, born in 1960, currently residing in apartment 3009-T03 of Times City Urban Area, a seriously ill veteran with a disability rate of 81%.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hien, born in 1947; currently residing at P02-12-T06 Times City Urban Area, a severely disabled veteran with a disability rate of 84%.
On the same day, leaders of Vinh Tuy ward visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Mai Van Tho, born in 1950, currently residing at P704 N2-25 Lac Trung, an 81% disabled veteran.

Next, the ward leaders visited and burned incense for martyr - Hero of the Armed Forces Nguyen Ba Ngai and his wife, martyr Dang Thi Chung, at 39/61/15 Lac Trung Street. Martyr Nguyen Ba Ngai was the former Chairman of the Administrative Resistance Committee of Hoang Ngo Commune, Quoc Oai, Ha Tay (old), and died in 1949 in the locality. Martyr Dang Thi Chung was the Deputy Platoon Leader of the frontline porters, and died in 1951 in the "Ly Thuong Kiet campaign" when attacking Ca Vinh post (formerly Yen Bai province).
Visiting and presenting gifts to meritorious people and policy families in the area, leaders of Vinh Tuy ward expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and meritorious people in the cause of national liberation as well as the current construction and protection of the Fatherland.

The ward leaders highly appreciated the war invalids, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with meritorious services who, despite suffering from war injuries, have always maintained their noble qualities, will, faith, and optimism; constantly promoting their exemplary role, and strictly implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws.
Leaders of Vinh Tuy ward also shared about the socio -economic development situation of the ward, especially since the implementation of the two-level local government model from July 1 to present.
Leaders of Vinh Tuy ward encouraged war invalids, sick soldiers and their families to continue to maintain their health, promote revolutionary traditions, live exemplary lives, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, and be a shining example for younger generations to be proud of, learn from and follow.
In Vinh Tuy ward, there are currently a total of 806 people with meritorious services, including 11 cases of gift giving on the occasion of National Day September 2 and 709 cases of gift giving on the occasion of July 27. The total number of people with meritorious services to the revolution who are eligible for nursing care in 2025 is 487 people. The ward People's Committee has invited 2 batches with a total of 68 people with meritorious services to the revolution to receive nursing care at the center. Currently, the ward continues to review and make a list of people with meritorious services to the revolution who are eligible and healthy to receive nursing care at the center and at home.
