Military Region 7 mobilized forces to participate in the "Quang Trung Campaign" in Lam Dong.

On the morning of December 17th, a delegation from the 7th Military Region Command, led by Major General Tran Ngoc Minh, Deputy Commander of the 7th Military Region, visited and encouraged the forces participating in the "Quang Trung Campaign" in D'Ran commune (Lam Dong province).

The delegation included Colonel Thai Thanh Duc, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Military Region 7, and heads of agencies under the Military Region. From the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Quang, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, also participated in the delegation.

The delegation was present to inspect the construction sites where forces were building new houses for families whose homes were completely destroyed by the floods. There, Major General Tran Ngoc Minh kindly inquired about the well-being of the people, expressing sympathy for their losses and damages; and encouraged them to overcome difficulties and resume production. The new houses are being built by the soldiers diligently to ensure that the people have new homes to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year).

Inspecting the progress of tasks performed by units at the construction sites, the Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 highly appreciated the proactive spirit, discipline, and responsibility of officers and soldiers in carrying out their duties. The Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 requested that the units continue to implement their tasks on schedule, achieve quality standards, and constantly uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, ensuring absolute safety during construction.

Right at the construction sites, the Deputy Commander of Military Region 7 presented gifts and encouraged the forces, urging officers and soldiers to carry out their duties with the spirit of Quang Trung's swift and decisive action. Units were instructed to make the most of all time and resources to successfully complete their assigned tasks in a short period. This was a command from the heart, a selfless dedication to the people, embodying the spirit that wherever the people are in need, the army must be there.

The Deputy Commander of the Military Region requested that the units continue to implement the tasks on schedule, achieving quality standards and ensuring absolute safety during the construction process.

Major General Tran Ngoc Minh noted that the task was difficult and urgent, but it had to ensure absolute quality and safety. All officers and soldiers used all their abilities and responsibilities to build houses for the people. The greater the difficulties, the clearer the resilience of the armed forces of Military Region 7 was demonstrated, shining with the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers."

Military Region 7 is carrying out the construction and repair of 41 houses belonging to people affected by floods in D'Ran commune; of which, 12 houses are newly built and 29 houses are being repaired.

Currently, more than 300 officers and soldiers from units including the 7th Military Region Headquarters, the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, the 5th Division, the 25th Brigade, Tay Nam Company, and Dong Hai Company are participating in the "large-scale construction" project in D'Ran commune. The work is being carried out by the units on schedule.
