Thanh Xuan District: Awarding the 80-year Party membership badge to party member Nguyen Thanh

On the morning of September 24, Thanh Xuan District Party Committee held a ceremony to award the 80-year Party membership badge to veteran party member Nguyen Thanh (Residential Area Party Cell 17, Nhan Chinh Ward Party Committee).

It is known that Mr. Nguyen Thanh was born in 1928, from Sai Son commune (Quoc Oai district) and was admitted to the Party on September 12, 1946. Mr. Nguyen Thanh is currently active in the Party Cell 17, Nhan Chinh Ward Party Committee, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city.

During his previous work, Mr. Nguyen Thanh held many important positions, such as: Viet Minh propaganda officer before 1945, Secretary of the Commune Youth for National Salvation; officer of the Son Tay Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Head of the Quoc Oai District Party Committee's Propaganda Department; officer of the Army Officers' School; officer at the General Department of Politics ; political teacher at the Artillery Officers' School; Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Mechanical Enterprise; Principal of the Mechanical College (Ministry of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy); Director of the K25 Mechanical Factory; Principal of the Training School for Workers - Technical Officers of the Song Da Hydropower Company before retiring from work in 1980.

With his contributions to the revolution, veteran party member Nguyen Thanh was awarded by the Party and State: Victory Medal; Glorious Soldier Medal, First, Second and Third Class; Anti-American Resistance Medal, First Class; and many Certificates of Merit from all levels and sectors.

At the ceremony to award the 80-year Party membership badge, Thanh Xuan District Party Secretary Bui Huyen Mai affirmed that this is not only an honor and pride for Party member Nguyen Thanh but also a common joy for the Nhan Chinh Ward Party Committee and Thanh Xuan District Party Committee.

The party badge that Mr. Nguyen Thanh received is a particularly important milestone on the path of struggle of a party member; it is proof of his unceasing cultivation, political courage, steadfast spirit and dedication to his revolutionary cause. It also shows the recognition and respect of our Party, State and people for his contribution to the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Respectfully expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of veteran party member Nguyen Thanh, Thanh Xuan District Party Secretary Bui Huyen Mai wished party member Nguyen Thanh and his family good health, continued to promote revolutionary ethics, pioneering and exemplary spirit, actively participate in movements, and contribute to building a prosperous locality.
