The 2024 photo contest "Sparkling Ban Flower Field" will extend the submission period until April 20, 2024.

This is an activity within the framework of National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024 hosted by Dien Bien province.

The photo contest "Shining Ban Flower Field" in 2024 is organized to promote propaganda, promotion, and introduction of people, unique cultural identity, historical and cultural relics, natural landscapes, scenic spots, and typical tourist products and destinations associated with the beauty of Ban flowers in Dien Bien province.

The contest also aims to encourage photographers to participate in creating travel photos about the land and people of Dien Bien.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contestants are Vietnamese citizens; Vietnamese people living and working abroad; foreigners living and working in Vietnam; groups of authors or agencies and organizations in and outside the country. Members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury are not allowed to submit entries.

Entries must be single photos or photo series (5-10 photos), taken at tourist destinations, scenic spots, historical and cultural relics; cultural beauty, daily activities of ethnic communities in Dien Bien province, associated with Ban flowers and photos of Ban flowers in Dien Bien province from 2022 onwards.

In particular, for the photo contest, it is required to have images of Bauhinia flowers occupying at least 1/3 of the number of photos; single photos must be beautiful photos of Bauhinia flowers. The work must be accompanied by an introduction (no more than 90 words) about the shooting location and the author's feelings.

All photos submitted are color, unedited, taken with cameras, mobile phones and other digital devices. Photos submitted have never won any awards or participated in any other competitions. Authors are responsible for the copyright of their works. There is no limit to the number of works submitted by authors.

The structure and value of the awards include: 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, and thematic prizes. The time to organize the summary and award ceremony is before May 5.
