Business community joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

With the spirit of “The whole leaves cover the torn ones”, the business community has actively contributed resources, joining hands with the province to soon complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Such active participation demonstrates the responsibility of the business community and businesses towards the major policy of the Party and State, helping people in difficult circumstances to settle down and make a living.

Thanks to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, poor households in Binh Minh commune (Kien Xuong) have been able to settle down in new housing.

In line with the province's directive and the call for "A million loving hearts - a thousand happy homes", since the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs was implemented, the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the province have joined in with a very high sense of responsibility, making an important contribution to the program's positive results. According to Mr. Do Van Ve, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association: When Thai Binh province launched the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, with social responsibility and the fine tradition of the business community and entrepreneurs of Thai Binh province, we completely agreed and supported this policy. The Provincial Business Association has spread information to its members so that businesses can grasp and join hands in support. Although the production and business situation of enterprises in the past time has encountered many difficulties; However, with social responsibility, we always accompany and support the province's major policies and see that through that contribution, we have helped families who are still facing difficulties to have a more solid and stable home, a support for them to rise up in life.

The participation of the business community not only brings material efficiency but also strongly spreads the spirit of humanity and solidarity in society. In particular, in the context of economic instability, the fact that businesses still devote resources to supporting the community is a clear demonstration of the responsibility and mettle of businesses. That shows that, in difficult times, the spirit of "Mutual love" and the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" are always preserved and promoted. Among them, we can mention Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company (TBS Group) which has donated 12 billion VND to support the province in implementing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, representative of TBS Group, said: Participating in social security work is one of the important tasks that the Company carries out every year. We consider this a responsibility and at the same time a beautiful cultural feature of the enterprise. We hope that the houses built will contribute to bringing hope to people in difficult circumstances, thereby creating motivation for them to rise up. Nationwide, our business has donated 60 billion VND to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. In Thai Binh alone, we have spent 12 billion VND to contribute to the province's successful implementation of the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for households facing housing difficulties.

Or Thang Long Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company also set aside 1 billion VND to help households improve their housing. Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh, General Director of the Company shared: We identify responsibility to the community and society as an inseparable part of the company's sustainable development strategy. I believe that mobilizing social resources to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is a correct policy, full of humanity and has a long-term strategic vision. I appreciate the strong direction of Thai Binh province, and at the same time clearly feel the sense of responsibility and consensus of the entire political system in caring for the people, for the people. I hope that this program will be widely spread so that no one will have to live in temporary or dilapidated houses.

The spirit of "mutual love", national love, and compatriotism were aroused and spread strongly. From the slogan responding to the emulation movement "Whoever has something to contribute, whoever has merits to contribute, whoever has property to contribute, whoever has a lot to contribute a lot, whoever has little to contribute a little...", the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the province have supported from hundreds of millions to tens of billions of VND. It can be said that this is an extremely meaningful and great contribution and sharing to join hands to successfully implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Ms. Dang Thi Chien, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said: With the message "Millions of loving hearts - thousands of happy homes", the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee calls on all levels, sectors, organizations and individuals with a compassionate heart to contribute resources to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Through that appeal, we received a very positive response and support from all levels, sectors, organizations, individuals and especially the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the province. As of May 29, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received over 60.3 billion VND from 804 groups and individuals to support the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. We have coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to manage and use it for the right purpose, effectively, publicly and transparently.

With 3,020 temporary and dilapidated houses removed; including 2,111 poor and near-poor households; 909 households of people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives, the role of the business community and enterprises in and outside the province has been affirmed. With affection and responsibility to the community, businesses have helped families with housing difficulties open up a new life, not only with walls and tiled roofs, but also with sharing, responsibility, and dedication to a fair and civilized society so that no one is left behind. It is this spirit that has built the foundation for families in difficulty to have more confidence to rise up in life.
