Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai encouraged the construction force of Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway.

On the afternoon of June 13, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, visited and encouraged workers, officers and engineers working at the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau expressway construction site (part of the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway construction investment project).

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai listened to the investor report on the project progress.

At the construction site, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai hoped that the team of workers, engineers, and contractors would make efforts to mobilize machinery, equipment, and human resources to organize the construction. The investor would provide timely instructions and remove difficulties so that the project could be completed as planned. On this occasion, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai presented gifts to workers participating in the construction of the expressway project under the XL3 package.

According to My Thuan Project Management Board (investor), contractors are currently focusing resources to organize overtime to compensate for the slow progress. Up to now, construction output has reached more than 66% of the plan.

For the main route, enough sand has been mobilized to fill the main route, and sand resources are being mobilized to construct the intersection branch and connecting route (requiring about 1.17 million ^m3 ); crushed stone aggregate materials have been brought to the construction site, with a total of 1.12/1.72 million ^m3 for the two component projects. For the main route bridge section, 95/95 bridges have been deployed, of which 82/95 bridges have completed the bridge deck; 11 large bridges have been opened to technical traffic.

The My Thuan Project Management Board announced that it has launched a competition to accelerate the progress of the Can Tho – Ca Mau Project. All contractors participating in the project committed to pooling financial resources, adding equipment to increase shifts, overcoming the sun and rain, and organizing construction day and night to accelerate the project's progress.

The Can Tho - Ca Mau Expressway Project has a main route length of 110.85 km (through Can Tho City 0.6 km, Hau Giang Province 63.65 km, Bac Lieu Province 7.7 km, Kien Giang Province 17 km, Ca Mau Province 21.9 km) and a connecting route of 25.85 km; divided into 2 component projects: Can Tho - Hau Giang section and Hau Giang - Ca Mau section invested by My Thuan Project Management Board. The total investment is 27,523 billion VND, including 4 construction packages, starting on January 1, 2023.
