Son La plums have thin skin, crispy flesh, and a sweet and slightly sour taste, making them a popular summer specialty in many domestic and international markets.
In addition to fresh fruit products, Son La plums can also be processed into plum jam, dried plums, syrup, plum wine, etc., helping to increase product value and extend the consumption chain after the season.
The program to add plums to the in-flight menu is part of Vietnam Airlines' annual strategy to diversify culinary experiences and support the promotion of regional agricultural products.
Previously, Vietnam Airlines made its mark with unique Vietnamese agricultural products such as Hung Yen longan, Thanh Ha lychee, Cao Phong orange, Moc Chau strawberry, etc., which were highly appreciated by domestic and foreign passengers.
