Urgently complete and issue the Project for military parades and marches in June

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has just directed relevant ministries, branches and localities to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Vietnam will hold a ceremony, parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Hanoi People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to urgently complete the plan for organizing the anniversary ceremony, parade and march, and report to the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for comments before promulgation. At the same time, focus on directing the site clearance to renovate and expand the Ba Dinh Square area to organize the anniversary ceremony, parade and march; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 15.

The Ministry of National Defense shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently complete and promulgate the Project for military parades and marches in June; well organize training, joint training, military parades, marches and related tasks; and report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation situation before July 15.

The Ministry of Public Security presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to develop a plan to ensure absolute security and safety for commemorative activities, especially key activities with the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and international delegates.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently complete the plan to invite international delegates, foreign press reporters, and forces from other countries to attend the celebration, parade, march and commemorative activities, and submit it to the Secretariat in June.

Vietnam Television shall preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to prepare and organize well live television broadcasts of: commemorations, parades, and marches; live television bridges; special art programs and a number of other commemorative activities; focus on further improving the image quality of live television broadcasts of key activities, especially commemorations, parades, and marches.
