Moc Chau, a long-standing land of 12 ethnic groups with unique cultural characteristics, festivals, and customs, promoting these advantages, the town has implemented many solutions to preserve and promote cultural values associated with tourism through maintaining the organization of events such as: Moc Chau District Cultural Tourism Week on September 2, Het Cha Festival, Praying for Rain Festival, Pung Hieng Festival of the Dao Tien people, Fruit Picking Festival... attracting a large number of tourists to visit and experience. Along with promoting cultural advantages, Moc Chau has quickly grasped the trend of sports tourism and adventure tourism that is developing strongly in the world.

The most prominent is the Vietnam Trail Marathon (VTM) held annually. The race not only attracts thousands of domestic and international athletes but is also an effective channel to promote the image of Moc Chau. Images of athletes walking through green tea hills, crossing poetic villages are spread across all media, creating a strong effect, arousing the desire to explore Moc Chau of many people. Along with the marathon, other activities such as: Off-road motorcycle racing, organizing hot air balloon flying experiences, paragliding, world yoga festival ... are also organized in turn, contributing to diversifying tourism products, attracting a new number of visitors, young, dynamic people who love sports and exploration.

Mr. Le Trong Binh, Chairman of Moc Chau Town People's Committee, said: Identifying tourism as a key economic sector, the Town Party Committee has issued many resolutions and thematic conclusions to lead and direct comprehensive tourism development. In which, it focuses on preserving and maximizing indigenous cultural values, turning heritage into assets through festivals. Along with that, promoting the development of sports tourism and adventure tourism to catch up with the trend and attract high-end customers and international visitors. The success of recent festivals and sports tournaments is the result of close coordination between the government, businesses and people, creating a combined strength to promote the image and enhance the Moc Chau tourism brand.

In the trend of sustainable tourism development, the exploitation of indigenous cultural values and the organization of attractive sporting events are being systematically organized by tourist areas, contributing to the creation of new tourism products, promoting and attracting tourists to Moc Chau. One of the most impressive highlights in recent times is Moc Chau Island Tourist Area - Bach Long Glass Bridge, not only a place with majestic natural landscapes and modern tourism products, but also because of the constant efforts in promoting the image through cultural and sporting activities that attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Mr. Hoang Manh Duy, Deputy Director of the Tourist Area, shared: We determined that the development of Moc Chau Island must be closely linked to the overall development of Moc Chau tourism. Therefore, hosting cultural events such as the Rain Praying Festival, the World Yoga Day, or organizing the Vietnam Off-Road Motorcycle Racing Tournament... is not only an honor but also a responsibility of the enterprise. We hope that Moc Chau Island will become a convergence space, where cultural values and sports activities are strongly spread to domestic and foreign tourists.
