In Huoi Pot village, Muong Va commune, Sop Cop district, there are 17 households, 100% of whom are Sinh Mun ethnic people. As a prestigious person, Mr. Pit Van Hac, Party cell secretary, village chief, has always been a pioneer in economic development; at the same time, he has actively encouraged people to switch to growing fruit trees; develop livestock farming in cages combined with grass planting, improving people's lives. Mr. Hac shared: Changing people's production habits is not easy, if you want people to believe and follow, you have to do it first. The family converted 1 hectare of corn and cassava land to grow orange trees, each year yielding 4 tons, earning more than 60 million VND. Currently, the village has planted 4 hectares of fruit trees; newly planted 6 hectares of coffee trees; planted 10 hectares of grass to raise nearly 100 large cattle. In addition, he also mobilized people to contribute more than 150 laborers to pour concrete on the village roads and support households to remove temporary houses. Currently, 100% of households have solid houses. Over the past 10 years, the village has been recognized as a "4-no drug" village. For 4 years, the Party cell has been classified as having completed its tasks excellently and has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Party Executive Committee for its outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo .
At the Na Vac border village, Muong Lan commune, Mr. Vi Van Toi, a Lao ethnic, is a prestigious person in the village, regularly propagating and mobilizing families to actively implement border regulations and participate in protecting border markers.
