Promoting the unique features of Lam Dong culture in Hanoi

Speaking at the press conference held on the afternoon of May 6 in Hanoi, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of "Lam Dong Cultural Day in Hanoi - 2025" said that Lam Dong land has rich and diverse cultural features from language, customs, religious beliefs of 47 ethnic groups in the province, creating a foundation for the formation of many attractive types of tourism , such as: cultural and historical tourism; festival tourism, eco-tourism, landscape tourism...

In addition, Lam Dong also has the "Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space" which was recognized by UNESCO as "Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the World " (2005) and "Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" (2008).

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province Nguyen Trung Kien affirmed that this is an important cultural event to introduce and promote the unique beauty of culture, people and tourism of Da Lat - Lam Dong, bringing opportunities for the capital's people and domestic and international tourists to explore the potential, strengths and unique products of the highland region.

The organizers said there will be many activities promoting Lam Dong's unique culture at the event.

Within the framework of "Lam Dong Cultural Day in Hanoi - 2025" there will be many activities such as the Lam Dong Culture-Tourism-Trade Connection Forum - 2025 taking place on May 17 at the International Convention Center, No. 11 Le Hong Phong, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, continuous activities taking place from May 16 to 18 in the walking street space of Hoan Kiem Lake, such as the exhibition program introducing tourism culture, architectural heritage planning, OCOP products, agriculture; exhibition of Lam Dong - Da Lat Provincial Planning; exhibition introducing culture, tourism, products of Lam Dong; promotion, exhibition display, introduction of local cultural quintessence; tea space and display of tea products

The opening program combined with the art performance “A glimpse of Lam Dong in Hanoi” took place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on May 17, introducing to the capital audience musical works typical of the Lam Dong-Da Lat region with the liberal sound typical of the Central Highlands and the romance of Da Lat.

The program will also feature works that demonstrate the cultural similarities and ties between Lam Dong and Hanoi in the past, present and future. Notably, the works in the program are all performed by artists born and raised in Lam Dong and Hanoi.

After the event "Lam Dong Cultural Day in Hanoi - 2025", Lam Dong province will continue to promote culture and tourism in provinces and cities across the country.
