(QBĐT) - On June 17 (local time), a delegation of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province participated in a local promotion program in the Netherlands. The program was chaired by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands in coordination with the People's Committees of Ninh Thuan, Hoa Binh, Dak Nong, Phu Yen, and Quang Binh provinces.
Attending the event were comrades: Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Cong Huan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and representatives of departments and localities.

The program includes main activities: Working session between the Vietnamese delegation, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands and the Mayor of Westland City (Netherlands); signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between the Netherlands-Vietnam Agricultural Business Cooperation Association and localities; seminar program introducing the potential and investment attraction policies of localities.
In addition, the provinces have organized exhibition spaces to introduce the potential and strengths of their localities. In particular, Quang Binh impressed with the application of virtual reality technology to promote tourism products.

Within the framework of the program, the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Binh province and the Netherlands-Vietnam Agricultural Business Cooperation Association signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation and attract investment in the field of high-tech agriculture in Quang Binh.
At the seminar introducing the potential and investment attraction policies of localities, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thang introduced the potentials and competitive advantages in terms of resources, orientations and strategies for socio-economic development towards a green economy, rapid and sustainable growth.
