One of the notable points of Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development, which has just been issued by the National Assembly , effective from June 1, 2025, and implemented for 5 years, is the establishment of the National Housing Fund.
“The current Housing Law does not have a financial fund specifically for social housing development. The establishment of a National Housing Fund with diverse capital sources is a new and outstanding feature that creates concentrated resources to support social housing projects,” said lawyer Nguyen Van Dinh.
To date, the Ministry of Construction has basically completed the draft Decree of the Government guiding the implementation of the Resolution. The draft content focuses on the provisions assigned by the National Assembly, including regulations on the National Housing Fund.

Recently, a series of cases have been exposed related to the use of toxic chemicals in food processing, especially in the production of bean sprouts.
Dr. Nguyen Trung Nguyen, Director of the Poison Control Center (Bach Mai Hospital) affirmed that using bean sprouts soaked in the chemical 6-BAP is extremely dangerous. Because the bean sprouts are soaked in chemicals and sold after only 24 hours, the poison penetrates directly into the body, which can cause acute poisoning and long-term damage to cells.
According to a survey by reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, the chemical 6-BAP is being sold on the e-commerce platform Tiki for 1.1 million VND for each 25g bottle.
The draft Law on Chemicals (amended) is expected to patch a series of "deadly loopholes" in chemical management.

Mr. Tran Van Thi (in alley 18, Vong Thi street) said indignantly: "I see that the awareness of business households on this street as well as many neighboring streets is very poor, arbitrarily turning sidewalks and roads into business areas and parking lots."
“Because people’s awareness is not high, they often re-offend when the authorities leave. In response to the information reported by the press, the Ward People’s Committee will strengthen inspection, control and handling,” said Chairman of the Buoi Ward People’s Committee Dang Van Hoi.
