OCB is in the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Southeast Asia honored by Fortune Magazine

On the morning of June 17, 2025, Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) was honored to be named by the prestigious global business magazine Fortune (USA) in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 Ranking (second time) - the list of 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia, thanks to its impressive achievements in growth rate, safety, efficiency and service quality over the years.

The ranking aims to honor the region's leading businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Southeast Asia. To be included in this ranking, businesses need to have a minimum revenue of more than 460 million USD.

With revenue reaching 813 million USD in 2024, OCB was honored by Fortune, ranked 317/500 among the enterprises with the highest revenue in Southeast Asia, becoming one of 21 Vietnamese banks included in this announcement, along with many major Vietnamese brands.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking reflects the rapid growth and diversity of industries in Southeast Asia, while also highlighting the region's growing role in global supply chains.

The 2025 list continues to recognize businesses from seven countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Cambodia.

Being included in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list is convincing evidence of OCB's solid financial capacity and outstanding operational efficiency, while affirming its brand position in the region and in the international market.

Despite global economic fluctuations, OCB has maintained good growth momentum in core business segments thanks to a flexible business strategy, strongly transforming the portfolio towards sustainable development. Specifically, according to the report at the end of the first quarter of 2025, OCB's customer portfolio has shifted, focusing on strategic individual customers and small and medium enterprises. Outstanding credit balance of individual customers increased by 11.4%, SME increased by 51.7% compared to the same period last year.

In particular, the bank is also promoting green finance, providing capital for projects towards sustainable development such as: renewable energy, green buildings, water supply plants or smart agriculture , sustainable farming, drip irrigation, water storage/containment. According to statistics up to December 31, 2024, green credit at OCB increased by 30% compared to 2023.

It is known that in 2025, OCB will focus on industries such as energy, FMCG, logistics, financing loans for green, low-energy, environmentally friendly sectors, in addition to lending to SMEs and businesses with female managers. At the same time, expanding the FDI customer base - the key segment that OCB is promoting in the new year. Because these are the industries that bring the main growth drivers of the economy with high growth rates and expansion potential.

In addition, OCB is also strongly developing financial services including working capital loans and cash flow management for start-up businesses with stable cash flow, with the hope of contributing to the development of start-ups to help them become unicorns in the future.
