Quang Nam has 2 units assigned the task of preserving and supplying Ngoc Linh ginseng seedlings.

Both of these units were assigned to preserve an area of 131.22 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng (Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Plant Development Center preserved 50.25 hectares; Agricultural Technical Center preserved 80.97 hectares).

Up to now, the area of Ngoc Linh ginseng planted for conservation is 15 hectares, the number of ginseng seedlings 2 years old or older is 281,129 plants.

In 2024, the Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Development Center produced 123,205 plants/180,600 seeds for sowing (reaching a rate of 68.22%, an increase of 5.27% compared to 2023).

Nam Tra My District Agricultural Technical Center sowed 14,350 seeds, the rate of seedlings meeting nursery standards was 75%.

In 2024, these two units organized the collection and sowing of about 164,600 seeds to produce seedlings in 2025, serving the expansion and development of Ngoc Linh ginseng production in the area.
