The plan aims to strengthen activities to prevent, stop and eventually eliminate prostitution; create a strong change in awareness and action of all levels, sectors, social organizations and communities in the work of preventing and combating prostitution; improve the effectiveness of management work, and strengthen social services to support sex workers to integrate into the community.
Thereby, strengthening the prevention of HIV/AIDS infection and sexually transmitted diseases among people who buy and sell sex. Strictly handle violations and criminals who buy, sell, broker, harbor, and organize prostitution.
Specific objectives: More than 70% of employees working in service establishments prone to prostitution; 60% of workers in industrial parks and clusters; 70% of students in high schools, universities and vocationaltraining institutions are informed and disseminated about policies and laws, and provided with information and knowledge on prostitution prevention.
