This is an event to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in coordination with relevant units.
Participating in the exhibition are 20 provinces and cities including Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau , Can Tho, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu.
Quang Nam Provincial Museum participated in organizing the thematic exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicrafts of Quang Nam", displaying 60 images of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Temple Complex, Dong Duong Buddhist Monastery archaeological site, and Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve.
Along with that are typical traditional handicraft products: Brocade weaving of the Co Tu people, Ma Chau silk weaving, Thanh Ha pottery, Thanh Chau Hoi An bird's nest exploitation, Kim Bong Hoi An carpentry, Cu Lao Cham hammock weaving, Phuoc Kieu bronze casting...
The highlight of the exhibition is the pottery shaping and shaping performance by artisans from Thanh Ha pottery village. Thanh Ha pottery has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
Through the exhibition, the cultural and natural heritages, historical relics, scenic spots and unique tourism products of Quang Nam will be introduced, promoted and honored; the potential for cultural and tourism development of the locality will be affirmed, creating a strong driving force to attract resources for tourism development, enhancing the image of the land and people of Quang Nam.
