Quang Ngai drops in SIPAS and PAR INDEX rankings

(Baoquangngai.vn) - In 2024, Quang Ngai will rank 59th out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of People's Satisfaction Index with State Administrative Services and 43rd out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of Administrative Reform Index.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has just announced the results and rankings of the People's Satisfaction Index with State Administrative Services (SIPAS) in 2024 and the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) in 2024 of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.

2024 is the 13th consecutive year that the Ministry of Home Affairs has coordinated with localities and relevant agencies to determine and publish the PAR INDEX of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities; it is the 8th year of implementing satisfaction measurement and determining the SIPAS Index.

The national SIPAS index in 2024 will reach an average of 83.94%, an increase of 1.28% compared to 2023. Of which, the 5 provinces and cities with the highest results are Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau; the 5 provinces with the lowest results are Bac Kan, Lang Son, Quang Nam , An Giang and Quang Ngai.

Meanwhile, the PAR INDEX in 2024 of provinces and cities continued to maintain positive growth, with the highest average value ever, reaching 88.37%, 1.39% higher than in 2023. This is also the second consecutive time that 63/63 localities achieved results of over 80%.

Hai Phong City ranked first in the PAR INDEX 2024 with a result of 96.17%, 4.3% higher and 1 rank higher than in 2023. At the bottom of the PAR INDEX 2024 was Cao Bang province, reaching 82.95%.

According to the announced results, Quang Ngai's SIPAS index in 2024 reached 79.39%, ranking 59/63 provinces and cities (down 15 places compared to 2023). The PAR INDEX reached 87.88%, ranking 43/63 provinces and cities (down 16 places compared to 2023).
