This is the first Autumn Festival organized by Yen Tu ward on a large scale and for a long time, along with a series of unique cultural-spiritual activities in response to the event of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex being officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.
With the theme “Yen Tu – Autumn Zen Colors”, the festival aims to spread the ideology of Truc Lam Zen, a pure Vietnamese Zen sect founded by King Tran Nhan Tong with the ideology of “Living in the world and enjoying the Dharma”, “Harmony with the world”, while creating unique tourism products for the fall, building the image of a Yen Tu rich in identity, pure and profound in the hearts of visitors from all over.
The activities are organized to ensure solemnity, imbued with national cultural identity, safety and efficiency, contributing to creating a sustainable cultural-tourism space, connecting the community and promoting the image of Yen Tu Ward, a newly established locality, as an attractive destination in the journey to explore World Cultural Heritage.
There will be many special activities during the Yen Tu Autumn Festival such as: breathing meditation to welcome the new day, yoga and alternate breathing method, "Dawn on the top of Dong Pagoda" tour, "Following the footsteps of King Tran Nhan Tong", art programs "Dieu am Yen Tu mountain" and "Quintessence of Vietnamese culture", "Discovering the Ancient Palace" tour, "Legend of Nuong Village", "Happiness of the child returning", traditional fashion show and many folk cultural experiences. In parallel, there will be exhibitions, compositions, and art performances about Yen Tu and Dao Thanh Y culture along with two major races Ultra Trail Yen Tu and Yen Tu Heritage.
The festival is not only an important highlight in the strategy to stimulate tourism in the fall - the low season in Yen Tu, but also marks a new development step in the work of preserving and promoting the value of Truc Lam Buddhist cultural heritage and building a separate spiritual and meditation tourism brand for the sacred land of Yen Tu, contributing to realizing the policy of "four-season tourism" of Quang Ninh province.
