Quang Tri won 1 gold medal at the 31st North Central region art photography festival

QTO - On the morning of September 10, at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center, the opening ceremony of the 31st North Central region art photography festival took place with the theme "Land and people of North Central in the new era of development". The festival was organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAA) in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

This festival brings together photographers from 4 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Quang Tri and Hue City. This is not only an opportunity to honor the creative art of photography, but also contributes to promoting the image of the North Central region to the public; at the same time, enhancing the exchange, understanding and communication between artists in the region.

Through the selection rounds, the Jury selected 93 works from 53 authors to display at the festival. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, 5 consolation prizes, and 2 team prizes.

Artist Le Duc Thanh excellently won a gold medal with the photo series "Bridges connecting the two banks of Quang Tri ".

Quang Tri delegation has 20 works by 10 authors selected to display at the exhibition. Among them, the photo series “Bridges connecting the two banks of Quang Tri” by artist Le Duc Thanh won the gold medal; the work “Watercolor painting” by artist Nguyen Van Hai won the bronze medal and the work “Afternoon light” by artist Nguyen Luong Sang won the consolation prize.

The festival lasts until October 15.
