Quang Tri attracts more than 2,500 billion VND in investment in July 2025

On August 7, the Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board announced that in July, the Economic Zone Management Board had approved investment policies for 13 projects with a total registered investment of VND2,545 billion.

In the past 7 months, the Economic Zone Management Board has approved investment policies for 37 projects with a total registered investment of VND9,064 billion; in addition, it has adjusted 31 projects and revoked 8 projects.

Up to now, in industrial parks and economic zones (IPs, EZs), there have been 396 projects granted investors with a total investment of VND 238,328.8 billion.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board, said that the Management Board is currently continuing to support investors in procedures for projects proposing new investment policies in industrial parks and economic zones and urging and supporting investment projects in industrial parks and economic zones that have been granted policies.

According to Mr. Khanh, in the coming time, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board will continue to inspect, urge and handle, and implement projects that have been granted investment policies in the area that are behind schedule according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Conclusion of the Provincial People's Council.

Focus on removing difficulties and urging the progress of investment projects, focusing on key investment projects such as: Quang Trach Thermal Power Plant, Hon La International Port, Cam Lien Industrial Park Infrastructure, Quang Tri Industrial Park Infrastructure, Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park Infrastructure, My Thuy Port Area, Titanium - Monazite Deep Processing Industrial Complex Project...

In addition, the Management Board will continue to appraise, approve and adjust investment policies for projects that are appraising new investment policy applications: Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone Warehouse Service Area; Tien Dat Commercial Concrete Factory - Quan Hau Northwest Industrial Park; Quang Tri Eco- tourism Area, Quang Tri Silica Industrial Complex; Thanh Phuong Beach Commercial-Service Area... Advise on organizing the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee: Ho Xa Northwest Industrial Park, A&C International Packaging Factory, Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant.

“Another important task is that the Economic Zone Management Board will continue to closely coordinate with investors, departments, and localities to remove difficulties and speed up the construction progress of projects, especially key projects in the Economic Zone and Industrial Park. Continue to urge the progress of project implementation according to approved policies; support investors to continue to collect opinions, appraise investment project implementation documents and adjust the proposed investment policies of investors in the Economic Zone and Industrial Park,” said Mr. Khanh.
